iPhone: Save to Camera Roll

Method 1: Documents by Readdle

  1. Install "Documents by Readdle" from App Store (free)
  2. Open Documents app → Browser tab
  3. Visit an online YouTube downloader
  4. Paste YouTube URL and download video
  5. Tap downloaded file → Share → Save Video
  6. Video now in Photos app

Method 2: Shortcuts App

  1. Open Shortcuts app (built-in iOS)
  2. Search for "YouTube Download" shortcuts
  3. Add trusted shortcut to library
  4. Share YouTube video → Run Shortcut
  5. Select quality → Save to Photos

Tip: Videos saved to Camera Roll count toward iCloud storage if Photo Library sync is enabled.

Android: Save to Gallery

  1. Install TubeMate APK
  2. Search or paste YouTube URL
  3. Tap download button
  4. Select quality and save location
